Job summary

The Renaissance Minneapolis Bloomington Hotel, managed by Spire Hospitality LLC, is seeking a detail‑oriented General Cleaning and Preventive Maintenance professional to support guest rooms, public areas, and function spaces. The role emphasizes deep cleaning to Marriott standards and proactive maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction.

Daily tasks include preventative maintenance, inspections, minor repairs, and coordination with Housekeeping and Engineering to deliver a consistently

Qualifications

• Fluent spoken English is required.
• Trade school or technician certification preferred.
• Experience in hotel/facilities maintenance is a plus.
• Any education/training/experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and public areas.
• Inspect and service mattresses, bed frames, and related furniture.
• Vacuum, dust, and clean surfaces; spot-clean carpets and upholstery.
• Paint touch-ups and minor repairs in bathrooms and rooms.
• Ensure all fixtures and appliances are functional and safe.
• Replace light fixtures, bulbs, and electrical components as needed.
• Follow Marriott's Power of Clean standards for deep cleaning of guestrooms.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping and Engineering to maintain high-quality rooms.
• Maintain organized carts and follow safety and sanitation protocols.
