Job summary

InnVentures’ SpringHill Suites Miami Airport South is seeking a Cook to craft quality dining experiences and support the hotel’s guest-centric mission. You will plan and prepare diverse items for the Iguana Bar, handle guest requests with creativity, and maintain high sanitation and presentation standards.

The role includes assisting with inventory, receiving, and ensuring timely deliveries while collaborating with all departments to achieve hospitality goals.

Qualifications

• Previous food handling or prep/line experience is required.
• Must be able to read, write, type and use basic technology.
• Must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare various food items and meals for the Iguana Bar.
• Creatively accommodate special requests from guests.
• Ensure food deliveries are timely, accurate and meet presentation standards.
• Assist with quality, cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and kitchen.
• Assist with inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items.
• Maintain and enforce sanitation and safety standards with anyone entering the kitchen area.
• Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
