Job summary

Legacy Ventures Hospitality is seeking a decentralized Controller to oversee the Hotel Indigo Atlanta Downtown’s accounting operations. The role will manage revenue audits, cash handling, AP/AR, and financial reporting for executive leadership.

You will partner with hotel management to close the month, review P&L, perform variance analyses, and support budget forecasting while maintaining strict internal controls across all financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel accounting operations, including revenue audits, cash management, bank deposits, and compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, collections, vendor payments, and direct-bill credit approvals to ensure accurate financial transactions.
• Prepare and distribute daily financial reports, cash management reports, variance analyses, and other operational accounting reports for hotel leadership.
• Partner with hotel management to complete month-end close, financial reporting, P&L reviews, reconciliations, and budget forecasting activities.
• Maintain strong financial controls by auditing cashier banks, investigating cash variances, monitoring expenses, reconciling accounts, and ensuring adherence to company and regulatory requirements.
