Job summary

Kimmel & Associates is seeking an experienced Superintendent for hotel construction projects in the Raleigh, NC market. You will provide field leadership, coordinate trades, and ensure safety, schedule, and quality on site.

The role requires 5+ years in hotel/construction leadership, with ground-up experience preferred, and Procore familiarity is a plus. This is a full-time on-site position with a strong project pipeline and long-term growth potential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a superintendent for a commercial GC.
• Hotel/hospitality construction experience strongly preferred.
• Ground-up construction experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and submittals.
• Strong scheduling, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with construction management software; Procore is a plus.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily field operations for hotel construction projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and stakeholders.
• Manage project sequencing and monitor progress against the schedule.
• Identify delays and conflicts and develop solutions.
• Review drawings, specs, submittals, and other project documentation.
• Maintain high standards for workmanship and quality control.
• Lead safety meetings and maintain a safe jobsite.
• Track progress with daily reports and documentation.
• Lead punch-list, project closeout, and turnover.
