Job summary

Shaner Hotels in Buffalo, NY, is hiring for a front-of-house role at the Buffalo Marriott LECOM Harborcenter. This in-person position is available as full-time or part-time, with pay of $16 per hour and employee benefits. Ideal candidates have at least one year of customer service experience; hotel experience is preferred.

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Responsibilities include greeting guests, seating assistance, handling guest inquiries, and maintaining cleanliness of the M Club Lounge

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum one year customer service experience; hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge arriving guests; escort guests to tables and assist in seating.
• Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, beverages and service standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the M Club Lounge and dining areas.
• Assist in breakfast buffet service and daily operations.
