Job summary

Historic Tours of America in Nashville, TN is seeking friendly Hotel Concierges stationed in hotel lobbies to deliver outstanding guest service and promote our Nashville tour packages based on product knowledge and pricing.

You will greet guests with a warm welcome, recommend suitable tours, handle transactions, maintain professional appearance, and contribute to a memorable guest experience through accurate information and courteous service.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Customer service, sales, or information center experience preferred.

Job Summary

Our Hotel Concierges are stationed in a hotel lobby and work seamlessly with the front desk, providing excellent customer service to guests. An ideal concierge must have a passion for helping people and making their vacation experience memorable. A sincere love of history and the culture of our city is helpful. Effectively sell the appropriate tour package to the guest based on the knowledge of our products, pricing, and the content of all ticket packages in order to meet sales goals.

Responsibilities
  • Greet everyone you meet with a smile and prompt service; extend courtesy, friendliness, and hospitality.
  • Give every guest the ultimate compliment of recognition and attention; guide them to the best offerings based on their interests during their stay.
  • Be knowledgeable and passionate about our products and the most popular things to do at each trolley stop.
  • Utilize exceptional sales skills—including a strong pitch, prospecting, handling objections, cross‑selling, upselling, and closing the deal.
  • Present the cost of tours and attractions based on the company’s pricing system.
  • Accurately handle transactions and receipts from sales, and secure and maintain ticket inventory and company assets.
  • Work independently within the scope of established rules and regulations to satisfy the needs of our guests.
  • Work well with all people while maintaining a professional and pleasant demeanor.
  • Read, write, and speak fluent English to communicate with fellow cast members and the general public.
  • Maintain good grooming skills and hygiene, presenting a strong, sparkling appearance.
Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent (preferred).
  • Customer service, sales, or information center experience (preferred).

  • Competitive pay: Earn $18 per hour plus uncapped commission.
