Qualifications

• Be able to bend, reach, kneel, push, and stretch and lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
• Can perform work for 8 hours and work in a restrictive space/environment.
• Must have eyesight enabling vision both near and far.
• Must be comfortable using a step stool or ladder.
• Must be able to use/lift arms for up to 8 hours.
• Must be able to handle heat and stress.
• Able to work in varying weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, etc.
• Have finger dexterity for operating equipment.
• Must speak in a clear, understandable voice, hear at a basic level, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the functionality and safety of the hotel property, including electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems.
• Direct maintenance and repair work, coordinating with vendors as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and brand standards.
• Lead team performance, scheduling, and professional development.
• Discuss bids with General Manager and oversee contracted work.
• Maintain and test life safety, plumbing, and building systems and perform inspections.
