Job summary

Vista Host Hotels Management & Development is seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee maintenance of the hotel’s building and operational systems. You will manage equipment, electrical and HVAC systems, and ensure safety and compliance while training staff and supporting asset management.

The role requires hands-on leadership, effective communication, and collaboration across departments to maintain high property standards and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel maintenance or similar role preferred.
• Strong technical skills in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Able to train maintenance staff and coordinate with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain maintenance standards for guest rooms and public areas following guidelines.
• Train maintenance personnel in property upkeep and provide basic training to staff.
• Review and resolve maintenance problems, complaints, and work orders, prioritizing tasks.
