Job summary

ARK is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to lead our facility maintenance operations, overseeing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and related systems to ensure reliability and compliance with safety standards.

The role combines hands-on leadership with strategic planning, managing maintenance teams, coordinating preventive maintenance, and ensuring brand standards across the property. Excellent problem-solving and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive facilities maintenance leadership.
• Strong leadership with staff development, evaluations and scheduling.
• Analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of building systems: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-focused communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Inspect and evaluate building systems for maintenance or upgrades.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance projects for timely completion.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise maintenance staff; foster accountability.
