Job summary

Quorum Hospitality is seeking a Chief Engineer for Residence Inn Wilmington Downtown to lead the engineering team, oversee preventative maintenance, and ensure the hotel’s infrastructure operates flawlessly. The role requires leadership, hands-on maintenance oversight, and a commitment to safety and guest satisfaction.

You will manage repairs, monitor budgets, and drive preventative measures while coordinating with other departments to support daily hotel operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering or maintenance leadership in a hotel or similar setting.
• Strong leadership experience and ability to manage a team.
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Engineering team to maintain high performance and safety standards.
• Participate in hiring, training, and performance management of staff.
• Handle maintenance requests promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Follow procedures, report emergencies, and monitor safety compliance.
