Balfour Hotel Miami Beach is seeking a Chief Engineer to maintain all hotel systems, lead the engineering team, and ensure guest comfort. You will manage shifts, oversee safety drills, and handle maintenance requests to uphold service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years hotel/related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Current HVAC, pool, and electrical certifications.
• Licensed to operate/repair boilers and chillers per local laws.
• Boilers/chillers license where required by local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Calm under pressure; financial and arithmetic proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Marvel: keep rooms and public spaces in top condition and up to standards.
• Team Captain: lead, train, and schedule engineering staff.
