Job summary

Crestline Hotels & Resorts, on behalf of Fairfield Inn & Suites Boulder Longmont, seeks a Chief Engineer to lead the Engineering team to keep the hotel safe, clean and efficient. You will manage building systems, oversee vendor relationships, and drive preventative maintenance programs to maximize guest satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on leadership, experience in maintenance, and a focus on safety and asset protection.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and 3 years of maintenance experience.
Hospitality experience preferred.
Basic computer skills including processing emails, basic spreadsheet manipulation, and database/navigation familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering team including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluations.
Oversee safe operation of the hotel's building systems and preventive maintenance.
Ensure all projects/repairs meet brand standards and codes.
Present cost-effective maintenance proposals for systems.
Handle guest response and preventive maintenance work orders.
Schedule work to minimize guest impact.
Inspect life safety equipment and systems per code and brand standards.
Respond to emergencies and coordinate immediate actions.
Maintain preventive maintenance/work order programs and asset protection.
Organize materials and maintain a clean, safe work area.
