Tru by Hilton Glendale is seeking a Hotel Chief Engineer to lead maintenance, oversee repairs, and drive reliability across the property.

You will manage preventive maintenance programs, supervise a team, oversee contractors, and coordinate projects from planning to completion—emphasizing safety, quality, and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Three or more years in hotel/building maintenance or similar environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage projects from inception to completion.
• Experience supervising a team in maintenance or Engineering.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee preventive maintenance programs and repairs for equipment, guest rooms, and property infrastructure.
• Conduct minor repairs on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other building systems.
• Serve as project manager for in-house projects: gather proposals, coordinate schedules, manage budgets, ensure quality.
• Secure and supervise outside contractors for complex repairs, ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Preserve exterior appearance, grounds, and pool/spa maintenance as applicable.
