Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking an experienced Hotel Chief Engineer to join the Westin Baltimore Airport team. You will supervise preventive maintenance, monitor life safety systems, and administer the department in compliance with corporate standards and local codes to protect assets, guests and associates.

You will also manage capital projects and ensure the hotel’s mechanical/electrical systems and FF&E are maintained to brand expectations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience at a comparable location.
• Hotel experience required.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, marketing plans, safety programs, budgeting, and long-range planning.
• Strong leadership, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand building systems: Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Life Safety, IT.
• Maintain engineering spaces and equipment.
• Follow PM procedures for guestrooms, public spaces, and grounds.
• Supervise, train, and manage engineering staff.
• Maintain records for budgeting, PM programs, and life safety inspections.
• Ensure safety, energy efficiency, and adherence to brand standards.
