Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Chief Engineer to supervise the implementation of preventive maintenance across the property and to oversee life safety systems and utilities. You will manage capital projects and ensure compliance with brand standards and codes.

The role requires leadership of engineering staff, strong knowledge of building systems, and experience with budget forecasting and maintenance programs. On-site position with hotel operations across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience at a comparable location
• Hotel experience preferred
• Knowledge of hotel operations, including budgets, safety programs and long-range planning
• Ability to manage multiple trades and projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Supervise preventive maintenance across building systems (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Life Safety) and equipment
• Monitor life safety systems and utilities and oversee capital projects
• Maintain records for budgeting, PM programs and capital work
• Lead and develop engineering staff, assign tasks and ensure productivity
