Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer for Westin Baltimore Airport in Linthicum Heights, MD. This on-site role oversees preventive maintenance of all building systems and leads the engineering team to protect assets and guests.

You will ensure compliance with codes, manage capital projects, and maintain cost-efficiency while delivering high standards of facility operation.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry experience in hotel settings.
• 3+ years hands-on experience at a comparable location.
• Knowledge of life safety systems, building codes and hotel operations.
• Experience in budget forecasting and capital project oversight.

Responsibilities

• Supervise preventive maintenance of hotel mechanical/electrical systems.
• Lead engineering staff, assign tasks and monitor performance.
• Maintain records for RandM, PM programs and capital budgets.
• Ensure life safety compliance and quality assurance across operations.
