Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational training required.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience (preferably in a hotel).
• Must be able to lift heavy objects.
• Must speak fluent English (other languages are a plus).
• Knowledge of HVAC / PTAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry basics.
• CPO certification is ideal if the hotel has a pool.

Responsibilities

• Send daily end-of-day activity reports to Facilities Manager and General Manager.
• Understand and use the property management and facilities software (e.g., Lodgistics).
• Perform preventive maintenance and document upkeep.
• Complete work orders promptly and respond to guest repair requests.
• Test and troubleshoot equipment including plumbing, electrical, and guest room items.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and assist with hotel projects.
