Job summary

Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center is seeking an experienced Building Engineer/HVAC Mechanic to join our team. The role covers boiler operation, air handler maintenance, chillers, BAS, CMMS, and related mechanical systems in a high-rise hotel.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, equipment rounds, and maintaining clean, safe mechanical rooms. Candidates should be self-starters, able to work solo or with a team, and capable of operating under physically demanding

Qualifications

• Experience with large building mechanical systems including boilers, chillers, AHUs and BACnet BAS.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics across complex HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Ability to operate within high-rise hotel environments and maintain safety and clean mechanical rooms.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on boiler and mechanical systems.
• Operate and monitor building automation systems; enter occupancy schedules and track performance.
• Maintain inventory and assist in repairs to kitchen and laundry equipment as needed.
• Communicate clearly with team and document issues and resolutions regularly.
