Hyatt Regency Buffalo / Hotel and Conference Center is seeking a Line Cook to join the kitchen team. You will prepare all menu items per recipes, review daily assignments with the Sous Chef, and start prep for the day’s service.

You’ll set up stations, assist on the line, and ensure proper storage and food handling compliance throughout the shift. The role requires experience, teamwork, and a strong work ethic, with a willingness to work varied schedules, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience as a Line Cook in hotel/resort or restaurant.
• Ability to work all stations on the line.
• Strong work ethic and self-initiative.
• Willingness to work varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides.
• Review assignments and anticipated business levels with Sous Chef/Station Cook I.
• Start prep for the day’s menu and assist Line Cooks on shift.
• Set up work station with mis en place, tools, equipment and supplies; breakdown stations and close out shifts.
• Maintain proper storage procedures per Health Department and hotel requirements; follow food handling guidelines.
