What Makes a Beach Attendant with McKibbon Hospitality?

Winter the Dolphin Beach Club is primarily a leisure travelers' destination hotel. Our Beach Attendants have the responsibility of ensuring our guests are enjoying their time while on property by welcome guests to the beach and consistently offering professional, friendly, and engaging service. Ensure guests are aware of all services available on the beach. Set-up beach equipment in designated area. Oversee the general cleanliness and upkeep of the beach area. Break-down and store beach equipment properly and other duties as assigned. Maintaining the highest level of services while embodying McKibbon’s Guiding Principles is at this heart of this role.

A Day in the Life:

  • You will resolve guest complaints in a profession, timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • You will maintain complete knowledge at all times of: Hotel features/services, hours of operation and scheduled daily activities.
  • You will greet all guests as they arrive/depart the beach area in an upbeat, professional and genuine way.
  • You will assist guests as needed based on requests of guests and supervisor.
  • You will communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments/personnel (i.e., special requests, amenity delivery, concerns)
  • Anticipate the needs of guests by being attentive to the environment and current circumstances. (i.e., if raining, assist with gathering belongings, additional chairs needed based on number of guests)

Job Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience
  • A high school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours at a time
  • Scheduling flexibility
  • The ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs regularly
  • The ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
