Responsibilities

• Prepare and set-up bar items, all liquors, mixers, ice, garnishes, glassware, and supplies.
• Greet and acknowledge guests as they arrive and engage in conversation.
• Monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption; determine when to stop service and report incidents.
• Check identification for alcohol service.
• Restock drinks and supplies; maintain bar cleanliness.
• Store unused items according to health codes and stock rotation.
• Follow hotel procedures for ordering below-par items and receiving supplies.
• Acquire knowledge of hotel facilities to answer guest questions.
