Job summary

Hyatt House in Austin, TX is seeking a bartender to deliver customized beverage service in a hotel bar. You will mix drinks, manage the cash drawer, and maintain a lively yet professional bar environment that guests enjoy.

The role requires 1–2 years of bartender experience, flexibility for shifts, and knowledge of alcohol service guidelines. Applicants should be able to lift up to 30 lbs, follow drink preparation standards, and provide friendly, efficient guest service while maintaining bar

Qualifications

• One to two years’ experience as a bartender.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Legal ability to serve alcohol in the state.
• Knowledge of drink preparation.
• Computational skills to process guest payments.
• Food safety certification and/or alcohol service training recommended.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly.

What Makes a McKibbon Bartender?The bartender not only mixes and mingles with customers but is savvy about drink preparation. The bartender provides customized beverage service to each of the hotel’s restaurant/bar customer in a friendly, energetic and timely manner. Responsible for assuring the guest is having a great time and/or relaxing while at the bar.
