Job summary

McKibbon Hotel Group is seeking a Food & Beverage Server to take orders and serve guests with timely, friendly, and professional hospitality.

You will work a flexible schedule, align with guiding principles, and contribute to a vibrant bar atmosphere while ensuring safety and accuracy in payments and service.

Qualifications

• One to two years’ experience as a server.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Legal ability to serve alcohol in the state.
• Knowledge of state and local alcohol guidelines.
• Knowledge of drink preparation.
• Computational skills to process guest payments.
• Course work or certification in restaurant or business fields preferred.
• Food safety certification or alcohol service training recommended.
• Ability to lift trays weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Create an energized bar atmosphere through friendly service.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs and adapt.
• Embrace the McKibbon Guiding Principles in daily actions.

What Makes a McKibbon Food & Beverage Server?

The Food and Beverage Server takes orders and serves food and beverage items to our guests and customers in a timely, friendly, enthusiastic and professional manner while embracing the McKibbon Guiding Principles.

Requirements:

• One to two years’ experience as a server.


• The ability to work a flexible schedule, including shift work, weekends, and holidays.


• The legal ability to serve alcohol in the State/Province.


• Knowledge of state and local guidelines regarding service of alcohol.


• Knowledge of drink preparation.


• Computational skills to process guest payments.


• Course work or certification/education in restaurant or business field are highly desired.


• Food safety certification and/or alcohol service training recommended.


• The ability to lift trays of beverages or food items weighing up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis.


• Create an energized bar atmosphere through friendly and personalized service.


• Ability to anticipate customer needs and change course of action accordingly.
