McKibbon Hospitality in Charlotte, NC hosts a Bartender role focused on crafting quality cocktails and delivering energetic, guest-focused service. You’ll mix drinks to spec, maintain bar cleanliness, handle payments, and ensure every guest has a great experience.

We’re seeking 1–2 years of bartending experience, ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends/holidays, and knowledge of local alcohol guidelines. Lift up to 30 lbs and embody our guiding principles daily.

Qualifications

• One to two years’ bartender experience.
• Knowledge of drink preparation and presentation.
• Knowledge of state and local guidelines for alcohol service.
• Legal ability to serve alcohol in the state.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Mix drinks according to house standards to control costs.
• Provide customized beverage service to guests in a friendly, energetic manner.
• Maintain clean and organized bar and ensure bar surroundings are in peak condition.
• Handle cash drawer accurately and reconcile discrepancies at night.
• Anticipate guest needs and adapt service quickly.

What Makes a McKibbon Bartender?The bartender not only mixes and mingles with customers but is savvy about drink preparation. The bartender provides customized beverage service to each of the hotel’s restaurant/bar customer in a friendly, energetic and timely manner. Responsible for assuring the guest is having a great time and/or relaxing while at the bar.
