Job summary

Sheraton Anchorage Hotel & Spa in downtown Anchorage seeks a full-time bartender to ensure guests have exceptional experiences. You will manage bar supplies, know liquor offerings, and assist with accurate cash handling.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, maintain friendly guest relations, and respond promptly to requests while adhering to liquor liability policies. Training is provided with updates every two years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain bar supplies and prepare daily requisitions.
• Familiar with liquor, recipes, prices, glassware, and garnishes.
• Know drink recipes, prices, and beverage offerings.
• Handle cash accurately using MICROS or registers; manage tips.
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Receive liquor liability training within 30 days of employment and every 2 years.
