IHG is seeking a bartender to warmly welcome guests and deliver high‑quality drinks and food service in a hotel bar setting. You will stock, prepare beverages to standards, handle transactions, and assist colleagues to ensure a seamless guest experience.

The role requires physical activity, flexible shifts including nights and weekends, and compliance with local alcohol laws. A smart appearance and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Fitness; you’ll be on your feet most of the day with bending and kneeling.
• Strength; lift, push and pull heavy objects up to 50lbs (23 kg).
• Literate; basic reading, writing and math.
• Flexible; night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Experienced; ability to prepare a wide range of drinks, formal bartending training preferred.
• Compliant; follow local alcohol/food laws and language requirements.
• Articulate; warm and easy to talk to.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm welcome and set the tone for every guest’s experience.
• Prepare and serve drinks to high standards and highlight promos.
• Collaborate with restaurant colleagues for seamless service.
• Set up bar, stock supplies, manage inventory and ensure equipment works.
• Change beer barrels and ensure bar cleanliness and security.
• Handle cash and card transactions.
• Maintain a smart uniform and professional appearance.
• Be ready to assist with other duties as needed.
• Follow safety procedures at all times.
