Shaner Hotels is recruiting for a Bartender at Inn at Bellefield in Hyde Park, NY. You will take orders, prepare and serve beverages and light meals, manage stock, and maintain bar cleanliness while delivering courteous, professional guest service.

The role requires adhering to alcohol service and food safety standards, with emphasis on accuracy, teamwork, and a positive guest experience. Weekend/holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in restaurant/bar/F&B preferred.
• Must meet the minimum state age requirement for serving alcohol.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and co-workers.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; some college education a plus.
• ServSafe certification and/or food safety training preferred.
• TIPS or equivalent alcohol awareness training preferred.
• Familiarity with cost controls and inventory management.

Responsabilités

• Take orders, prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and light meals.
• Maintain stock and supplies; monitor inventory; proper handling and storage of beverages/food.
• Keep the bar area and equipment clean and organized; provide exceptional guest service.
• Follow alcohol service, food safety, and hotel operating standards; ensure guest satisfaction.
