Job summary

Phoenix American Hospitality in Bentonville, AR is seeking a Bartender to provide exceptional guest service while preparing and serving beverages in the hotel's bar and lounge. You will ensure responsible alcohol service, maintain bar cleanliness, assist with food service, and support overall food and beverage operations in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include welcoming guests, taking orders, handling POS transactions, maintaining inventory, and complying with safety and sanitation

Qualifications

• Must possess or obtain TABC certification where required by state law.
• Must possess or obtain ServSafe Food Handler certification, if required by local or state regulations.
• Basic knowledge of beverage preparation, food service, and responsible alcohol service.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, accurately handle cash, and operate a POS system.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a friendly, professional manner and provide menus, beverage recommendations, and information about offerings.
• Take beverage and food orders accurately and deliver prompt, attentive service.
• Build positive guest relationships by providing hospitality and responding to guest requests and concerns.
• Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with alcohol service laws and regulations.
• Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and brand standards; maintain bar supplies.
