Job summary

Arbor Lodging Management is seeking a hospitable Bartender for our Phoenix, AZ property to greet guests, take orders, mix cocktails, and serve beverages and light snacks.

You will upsell items, help plan the bar menu, keep the area organized, check IDs, restock supplies, and maintain a welcoming guest experience while complying with state alcohol regulations.

The role rewards reliability, strong communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced hotel environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a bartender (state alcohol training and certificate)
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
• Fluency in a second language is a plus
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Prepares alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages and serves tables as needed
• Interacts with customers, takes orders, and serves snacks and drinks
• Assesses customers' needs and preferences and makes recommendations
• Mixes ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Plans and presents bar menu
• Checks customers' identification and confirms it meets legal drinking age
• Restocks and replenishes bar inventory and supplies
• Stays guest focused and nurtures an excellent guest experience
• Keeps the bar organized, stocked, and clean
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
