Job summary

PAH Management is seeking a Bartender to provide exceptional guest service by preparing and serving drinks in the hotel's bar and lounge. This on-site role emphasizes responsible service, bar upkeep, and collaboration with food service when needed.

Certification requirements include TABC (where required) and ServSafe. The position requires cash handling and POS operation, with a flexible schedule including evenings and events at the Bentonville/Rogers property.

Qualifications

• Must possess or obtain required TABC certification prior to serving alcohol.
• Must possess or obtain ServSafe Food Handler certification, if required by local or state regulations.
• Basic knowledge of beverage preparation and responsible alcohol service.
• Ability to handle cash and operate a POS system.
• Effective communication with guests, team and management.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide menus, beverage recommendations, and information about offerings.
• Take beverage and food orders accurately and deliver prompt, attentive service.
• Build positive guest relationships by providing exceptional hospitality and responding promptly to guest requests and concerns.
• Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with all applicable alcohol service laws and regulations.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes, brand standards, and responsible serving practices.
• Maintain accurate inventory of beverages, mixers, garnishes, and supplies, and notify management of inventory needs.
• Operate the POS system, process guest payments, prepare cash drops, and balance assigned cash banks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar, lounge, and work area throughout each shift.
