Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Cook for Kimpton Hotel Monaco Denver. You will prepare all food items according to standardized recipes for Restaurants, Room Service, Employee Cafeteria and Banquets, while maintaining cleanliness and safety in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities include buffet preparation, ensuring quality controls on ingredients, and supporting Kitchen Supervisors. Flexibility for long shifts is required; competitive hourly pay is offered with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Culinary experience required in a hotel or related field.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Knowledge of menus and preparation per hotel standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items per standardized recipes for Restaurants, Room Service, Employee Cafeteria and Banquets.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and work areas.
• Prepare and display buffet items according to hotel standards.
• Assist in Banquets and Employee Cafeteria as required.
• Follow health department and company regulations for food safety.
