Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh is seeking a banquet cook who can deliver ridiculously personal experiences through high-quality event food. You’ll lead all aspects of banquet food production, prepare items per specifications, and uphold sanitation standards to ensure safe, exceptional service.

We value passion for cooking, the ability to read recipes, and teamwork across departments. The role requires flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a boutique hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Banquet or cook experience preferred.
• Clear communication and basic computer skills.
• Ability to read recipes and follow instructions.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and builds displays.
• Strong love for cooking and phenomenal service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high quality food items for events in a timely and consistent manner.
• Set up food stations for events as designed and requested.
• Maintain sanitation and safety through daily cleaning, labeling, and storage of all items.
• Follow all quality standards and attendance policies.
• Work varying schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Collaborate with other departments as needed.
