Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn - Lubbock is seeking a Banquet Manager to lead wedding, corporate, and social events with excellence. You will oversee seamless banquet operations, ensuring flawless setup, service, and breakdown per BEOs while coaching your team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

You will collaborate with Culinary, Sales, Conference Services, and AV teams to ensure flawless execution, monitor timelines, and optimize staffing, safety, and costs.

Qualifications

• Banquet or F&B leadership experience required.
• Strong communication, organization, and coaching skills.
• Calm under pressure and detail oriented.
• Must be flexible to work any shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead all banquet operations, ensuring seamless setup, service, and breakdown of events according to banquet event orders (BEOs).
• Supervise, coach, and develop banquet team members to deliver exceptional guest service and operational excellence.
• Partner closely with Culinary, Sales, Conference Services, and AV teams to ensure successful event execution.
• Monitor event timelines, room presentation, service standards, and guest satisfaction throughout each function.
• Manage staffing levels, scheduling, labor costs, and team productivity to support business needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and company standards at all times.
• Oversee banquet equipment, inventory, and supplies to maintain operational readiness.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly, turning challenges into positive guest experiences.
• Support revenue goals by maximizing service quality and operational efficiency.
• Maintain a visible leadership presence during events and serve as the primary point of contact for banquet operations.
