NANA Management Services is seeking a Bakery Cook to support the Land’s End Resort in Homer, AK. The role involves preparing and baking bread, pastries and various bakery items in a hotel kitchen.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of scratch baking experience, follows standard recipes, and maintains quality and portion control. The job requires English literacy and a clean, organized workspace in a hotel culinary setting.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of baking experience with scratch baking knowledge.
• Ability to follow standardized written recipes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare baked goods following par level sheets.
• Follow recipes to meet nutritional needs and portion sizes.
• Present items attractively with garnish and correct portions.
• Participate in quality panels to ensure taste and consistency.
• Prepare a wide variety of bakery products and pastries.
• Assist with pastry prep including mixing, baking, frying as indicated.
• Maintain clean, labeled, rotated storeroom and equipment.
• Adhere to sanitation and safety procedures in the kitchen.
• Operate dishwashing as needed and support team during shortages.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
