Job summary

Hyatt Regency San Antonio is seeking an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to oversee the hotel's food and beverage operations. You will manage scheduling, forecasting and training while ensuring compliance with all laws and procedures.

The role supports special events and requires strong communication and analytical skills. Food and Beverage cost control experience is helpful, with flexibility to work early mornings and late nights.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years as F&B Management preferred.
• Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred.
• Food Handler Certificate and TABC required.
• Ideal applicant should have strong organizational skills, be a team player, and a dynamic leader.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule consisting of shifts ranging from starting at 6AM and ending at 2AM. Must be able to work weekends and holidays as well.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the food and beverage areas within the hotel.
• Schedule, forecast and train staff to meet service standards.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as operating procedures.
• Coordinate special events at the hotel and provide leadership to the team.
