Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts in Indianapolis is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the Finance Department, ensuring financial integrity, internal controls, and efficient operations across purchasing, inventory, AP, payroll, and reporting.

You will collaborate with the Assistant Director of Finance and Director of Finance, drive process improvements, and maintain strong vendor and cost-control practices within a luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in upscale or luxury hotel accounting/finance.
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles and internal controls.
• Exemplary communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee purchasing processes and related controls, including month-end reconciliation of inventories and AP close.
• Manage accounts payable, payroll administration, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage and Finance leadership on cost-control and process improvements.
• Lead the accounting team with coaching, performance management, and clear expectations.
• Ensure compliance with Omni finance SOPs and internal control guidelines.
