Job summary

MCR Hotels in Dallas is seeking a Centralized Accounting Manager to support our hotels with monthly reporting, reconciliations and financial statement preparation. The role focuses on accurate monthly close, tax calculations, and coordination with property systems.

You will interact with senior leadership and on-site general managers, assist the annual budgeting process and audit work papers, and drive process improvements across real estate portfolios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance
• 3-5+ years of accounting experience
• Experience in commercial real estate or the hotel industry preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Perform month end close duties for assigned properties (journal entries, reconciliations).
• Review monthly general ledger accounts for accuracy.
• Prepare monthly financial statements for hotel entities.
• Calculate and process various taxes (sales, occupancy, tourism) monthly/quarterly.
• Assist in annual budget preparation and audit work papers.
