Job summary

MCR Hotels is seeking a Centralized Accounting Manager in Dallas to support hotel properties with monthly close, financial statements, and tax calculations. You will interact with senior leadership and on-site managers and help with annual budget and audit prep.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, 3–5+ years of accounting experience, and strong Excel/Office skills. Prior real estate or hotel industry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or experience in closing hotels
• 3 - 5+ years of accounting experience
• Experience in commercial real estate or the hotel industry preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Excel, and Word
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills
• Must work with attention to detail
• Strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Perform month end close duties for properties including journal entries and reconciliations
• Review monthly general ledger accounts for accuracy
• Prepare monthly financials for hotel entities
• Calculate and process sales, occupancy, and tourism taxes
• Review and post daily uploads from property systems
• Assist with annual budget preparation and audit work papers
• Support special real estate projects and financial investments
