Job summary

XPO is seeking a Dockworker (Hostler) at our Fontana facility. You will move trailers, operate a hostler and material-handling equipment, and safely load freight across shifts to meet daily volumes.

Roles include using pallet jacks and forklifts, staying aware of safety policies, and scanning shipments with handheld devices. The job requires physical work on a loading dock and offers solid benefits after hire.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to perform basic math.
• Must pass company-paid pre-hire test.
• Available for day, evening, night and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers throughout the property.
• Use pallet jack and forklift.
• Load freight at least 1 day per week.
• Operate a hostler in all weather.
• Safely move heavy equipment up to ~128 lbs pull weight.
• Follow safety policies.
• Use handheld devices to scan shipments.
