Job summary

Dockworker (Hostler) at XPO is responsible for moving trailers and loading freight with forklift/Pallet jack. The role requires an 18+ age minimum, a valid driver’s license, and basic math skills. You’ll work up to 12–14 hours a day with a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to perform basic math calculations, with or without a calculator.
• Willing to pass a company-paid pre-hire physical test.
• Flexible schedule required, up to 12–14 hours daily, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers throughout the property.
• Operate motorized and manual equipment, including forklift and pallet jack.
• Load freight at least once per week.
• Operate a hostler in various weather conditions and stand for long periods.
• Safely handle heavy equipment and connect/disconnect a converter dolly as needed.
• Scan and track shipments using handheld devices.
