Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Dockworker (Hostler) to support trailer movement and shipments at our facility. The role requires operating pallet jacks and forklifts, lifting, and performing daily dock tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to perform basic math calculations, with or without a calculator.
• Must pass a company-paid, post-offer, pre-hire (physical essential functions) test.
• Must be available to work a variety of shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends).

Responsibilities

• Move trailers throughout the property.
• Operate motorized and manual equipment (pallet jack, forklift).
• Load freight at least 1 day per week.
• Operate a hostler in all weather and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Safely operate heavy equipment (connecting/disconnecting a dolly, etc.).
• Work safely and follow company safety policies.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
