Job summary

XPO is seeking a Dockworker (Hostler) in Mesa, AZ to move trailers, operate forklifts, and load freight across shifts. You’ll use pallet jacks and hostlers, scanning shipments to support dock efficiency.

The role requires safety focus, the ability to work varying weather, and lifting up to 50 lbs. A valid license and 18+ are required. Excellent benefits start on day one, including health, life, disability, PTO, holidays, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Able to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Pass a company-paid, post-offer, pre-hire (physical essential functions) test.
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers throughout the property.
• Use motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Load freight at least 1 day per week.
• Operate a hostler in all weather; stand for extended periods.
• Safely operate heavy equipment with an average weight/pull force of ~128 lbs.
• Work safely and adhere to company safety policies.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
