Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is hiring a Dockworker (Hostler) to move trailers, operate forklifts and palat jacks, and load freight on a rotating schedule. You will work on a dock environment, handling equipment and shipments while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to perform basic math with/without calculator.
• Pass a company-paid, pre-hire test.
• Able to work days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers throughout the property.
• Operate pallet jack and forklift.
• Load freight at least 1 day per week.
• Operate a hostler in various weather conditions.
• Safely connect/disconnect a converter dolly (avg. 128 lbs).
• Follow safety policies at all times.
• Scan and track shipments with handheld devices.
