Job summary

Flying Biscuit Cafe seeks a Host to warmly greet guests, seat guests, and manage the dining room flow in Wake Forest, NC. You will communicate features and promos, maintain wait lists, and support FOH/BOH teamwork while assisting with to-go orders as needed.

Qualifications

• Willingness to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
• Physical stamina for a minimum 6-hour shift.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to train individuals.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests following first-time guest protocols.
• Maintain a timely restaurant wait list.
• Communicate features and promotions to guests.
• Deliver food to tables.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, dining room, and restrooms.
• Assist in taking orders and processing to-go guest payments when needed.
• Perform daily opening and closing duties.
• Communicate restaurant operational needs to managers.
• Maintain a helpful relationship with FOH and BOH teams.
• Participate in ongoing restaurant training and scheduled events.
