The Galt House Hotel is seeking a Part-Time Host to warmly welcome guests at Swizzle and other restaurant outlets in Louisville, KY. You will escort guests to tables, provide menus, manage seating, and assist with reservations to ensure a memorable dining experience.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of guest-facing experience, excellent communication, and a friendly, professional demeanor. This role offers team collaboration and opportunities for growth within a welcoming hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of guest-facing experience.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills required.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

The Galt House Hotel is currently hiring for a Part-Time Host to greet patrons at several of our multiple restaurants - Swizzle.

The primary role of the Host is to ensure the guest has a memorable experience by providing excellent customer service through solid organizational skills and exceptional people skills from the moment the guest arrives through the time of their departure.

Responsibilities

• Assigning and escorting guests to their table.
• Providing menus.
• Making reservations.
• Arranging parties.
• May at times act as the cashier.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• At least 1 year of previous experience as a host or concierge.
• Guest service and excellent communication skills required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must have a friendly and engaging personality, with a positive attitude and professional and well-groomed appearance.
