Mammoth Mountain, a premier ski resort in Mammoth Lakes, CA, seeks a seasonal supervisor to lead activity operations and guest services. You will motivate staff, ensure productivity, and help meet department goals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate; college degree preferred.
• Experience supervising people and leading teams.
• Strong work ethic with excellent guest communication.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to coach, measure performance, and conduct seasonal reviews.
• Proven leadership and customer-service orientation.
• Positive problem-solving and decision-making.
• Outgoing, friendly, and able to foster teamwork.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Physically capable of lifting, shoveling snow, and working in varying weather.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a ski-resort setting.

Requirements

• Experience in supervising people
• High School graduate or equivalent, college degree preferred.
• Strong work ethic. Ability to effectively communicate to guests, employees and management.
• Ability to perform under pressure and with deadlines and solve problems using common sense and department policy.
• Must have computer skills with a working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point.
• Responsible for coaching, measurement and recognition of employee performance - including seasonal performance reviews.
• High level of emotional intelligence and strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with a strong customer service orientation
• Proven leadership experience in managing employees and fostering teamwork
• Ability to effectively resolve guest concerns and maintain a positive atmosphere
• Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills
• Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting, shoveling snow, and working in varying weather conditions, including direct sun and adverse weather
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in a ski resort setting

Hourly pay rate: $22.77 to $24.58
