Responsibilities

• Making a memorable first and last impression.
• Greeting incoming and departing Guests in a welcoming manner. Seating guests and ensuring a smooth handoff to service staff.
• Coordinating the wait and seating Guests with a sense of urgency.
• Engaging with Guests through genuine conversations and maintaining a friendly demeanor.
• Having a general knowledge of the food and drink menu to recommend and upsell products.
• Answering phone calls promptly and professionally.
• Assisting throughout the restaurant by bussing tables, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring excellent customer service. Teamwork is essential.
• Leading the lobby experience following Outback hospitality standards.
• Maintaining safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards during the shift.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to lift/move up to 30 lbs. and work in hot/cold environments.
• Ability to walk, stand, or bend for extended periods.
• For California-based positions: Responsible Beverage Service Certification (can be completed during training or within 60 days of start).
