Role Overview

We're seeking a tech-savvy, client-focused Bookkeeper / Virtual Assistant to join our remote team. This role is approximately 70% bookkeeping and 30% administrative support. Ideal candidates are proficient in QuickBooks Online and comfortable with AI-driven tools to enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintain accurate financial records for multiple clients.
  2. Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts.
  3. Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  4. Generate financial reports and perform month-end close procedures.
  5. Set up, clean up, and maintain QuickBooks Online files.

Administrative Support (30%)

  1. Schedule meetings and manage calendars using tools like Calendly.
  2. Coordinate client communications and respond to inquiries.
  3. Assist with onboarding new clients and organizing digital files.
  4. Leverage automation tools (e.g., Keeper) to streamline workflows.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably with small businesses.
  • Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online (certification is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency with cloud-based tools and AI-driven applications.
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-centric approach.
  • Availability during standard U.S. business hours.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
