RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Make a memorable first and last impression.
• Greet incoming and departing guests in a welcoming manner. Seat guests in the dining and bar areas, ensuring a smooth handoff to service staff.
• Coordinate the wait and seat guests with a sense of urgency.
• Always smile and engage in genuine conversations with guests.
• Have a general knowledge of the food and drink menu, and be able to recommend and upsell products.
• Answer the phone promptly and professionally, directing calls as needed.
• Be a team player by assisting throughout the restaurant—bussing tables, delivering food and beverages, assisting guests—and ensuring every opportunity to WOW a customer is seized. Teamwork is essential.
• Lead the lobby experience for each guest, following Outback hospitality standards.
• Commit to safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards during your shift.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.; capable of working in hot and cold environments.
• Ability to walk, stand, or bend for long periods while performing essential duties.
• For California-based positions: Responsible Beverage Service Certification required (can be completed during training or within 60 days of start date).
