Responsibilities

• Making a memorable first and last impression.
• Greeting incoming and departing Guests in a welcoming manner. Seating guests in the dining and bar areas, ensuring a smooth handoff to service staff.
• Coordinating the wait and seating Guests with a sense of urgency.
• Always smiling and engaging in genuine conversations with Guests.
• Having general knowledge of the food and drink menu, able to recommend and upsell products.
• Answering phones promptly and professionally, directing calls as needed.
• Assisting throughout the restaurant by bussing tables, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring excellent customer service. Teamwork is essential.
• Leading the lobby experience following Outback hospitality standards.
• Maintaining safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards during the shift.

Requirements

• Ability to lift/move up to 30 lbs; work in hot and cold environments.
• Ability to walk, stand, or bend for long periods.
• For California-based positions: Responsible Beverage Service Certification (can be completed during training or within 60 days of start).
